The George C. Gordon Library's 3rd floor art gallery on
the campus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute was the location
of our members' exhibition, which was on display from May
5 through June 2.
Approximately 35 people, including 11 of the 15 exhibiting
artists attended the reception on Wednesday, May 10 in the
gallery. The talk was lively, and members generously provided
refreshments.
The theme of this exhibit, which was the thirteenth since
our chapter began in 2001, was "The Vessel." It
featured a variety of styles and mediums, including painting,
collage, photography, lithography, and sculpture. The artists
interpreted the theme of vessels in intriguing ways, and their
work took viewers to the crossroads of the real and the symbolic.
