Interested in getting involved in the CMWCA, or becoming a more active member? There are several ways to do that with varying levels of commitment. Board of Director positions are the most involved yet most rewarding positions. The Board meetings are held every other month and are fun, social as well as productive. The Board positions roll over every 2 years and are as follows: President Vice President Secretary Treasurer/ Membership Coordinator Newsletter Editor Exhibition Coordinator Public Relations assistant National Liason** Member at Large denotes positions currently available ** CMWCA holds 2 general membership meetings a year; one in the spring
and one in the fall. We endeavor to format our meetings with member
slide shares, artist lectures and hands on art making workshops.
We are always open to creative ideas for events that combine creativity,
inspiration and knowledge. The ideas are just the beginning, followed
by a call to the general membership to form a committee for the
follow through of the task. Some future event ideas include: creative
fundraising, guest speakers for meetings, and another lecture series
on "Creative Process". These projects require assistance
from spearheading and organizing to setting up the refreshments.
