Biography

After attending Montserrat Art School in Beverly, MA, Joanne put her art on the back burner to raise a family. For the next 15 years, Joanne took various classes at the Fitchburg Art Museum, in Fitchburg MA, and The Sharon Arts Center in Sharon, NH. In the last 5 years she has been able, once again to devote serious time to art study, mainly watercolor and pastel painting, and entering her work in many juried and non juried, group art exhibits. Having helped to establish a central Massachusetts chapter of the national organization of Women's Caucus for Art, Joanne now serves on the Board of Directors as Secretary.
